August 2021: Carl Stearns and Nancy D. spent the day gathering over 30 paint exterior samples from various locations, red hot yellow jackets not withstanding in a couple of places. Samples will be sent off for analysis to determine the “chromochronology” (sequence of paint types and colors) applied over the last 218 years. Check out the photos for some new discoveries made today!

On June 25, ODT held a community bonfire event with food, fun, music, and raffles. Stay tuned - we are planning more events!

Previous Events

June 2021 - Benedict Tree ground up all the stumps on the property

April 2021 - A big turnout of ODT supporters worked tirelessly to clean up the grounds to commemorate Earth Day. This helped us to uncover some of the potential of this historic property.

Keeney Tree and Lawn Care skillfully and carefully removed ten ash trees stricken with the emerald ash borer. We highly recommend this team!

We opened up the ODT so visitors could see what this was all about.
